What is on the sheet
Header
Organization, registration number, department, sheet number and date.
Vehicle and driver
Make and model, plate, fleet number, driver name and licence.
Odometer
Reading at departure, reading on return, distance for the day.
Fuel
In the tank at departure, refuelled, left on return, consumed, and your rate per 100 km.
Trips
Fourteen numbered rows: time out and in, from, to, purpose, distance, signature.
Signatures
Driver, mechanic or dispatcher, manager.
Now picture not filling it in at all
It is the same set of numbers either way. The difference is who types them and how many times. In Depot 17 the driver enters the trip on a phone — odometer, refuelling, route, signature — and it works with no signal, syncing when the phone is back on the network. At month end the logistician opens the web panel and the month is already assembled, and the accountant writes fuel off from figures instead of handwriting that is not theirs.
